About Me/Resume

Currently, I work for Media Logic Radio in Sterling, Colorado as the Sports Director for Yuma’s Own 100.9 KNEC. Every morning I am on the air from 6:00 am to 9:00 am hosting a morning music show. KNEC is an Adult Contemporary station based in Yuma, Colorado. Additionally, I am the Voice of Yuma High School Athletics. I provide radio play-by-play for football basketball, volleyball, wrestling, baseball and softball.

I previously worked for Hub City Radio in Aberdeen, South Dakota, from August 2018 to August 2019, where I hosted a morning radio show on 1380/99.9 KQKD from 6-10am, a midday news/sports show from 11-1pm, an afternoon show on Sunny 97.7 from 2-7pm and I provided play-by-play for all of the football and basketball games for Redfield-Doland High School.

While in South Dakota I completed two seasons as the broadcaster for the Hub City Hotshots, a summer league baseball team in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I called all 64 games for the Hotshots and traveled all over the region with them. All of the broadcasts were solo broadcasts with occasional players or coaches joining me. I also produced the pregame and postgame show that are complete with interviews from coaches and players.

I was the broadcaster for the Palm Springs Power Baseball Club in Palm Springs, California in the summer of 2017. This is a summer collegiate baseball team that takes current college players and brings them in to play summer ball. I called over 35 games working as both the play-by-play and color commentator. I also wrote post-game recaps for the team website and league website as well as feature articles about the team and players. I also hosted, shot and edited pregame shows for the team’s Facebook page.

I attended Georgia State University for my freshman year and had a brief stint on the football team as a walk on.

I left the team and became the running backs coach for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy for the rest of that year.

I then transferred to the University of Georgia where I where I graduated from the Grady College of Journalism with a degree in Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media in December 2017.
